Kanye has made a soulful piano ditty with Paul McCartney
Wonder if this means an album...
in fact I thought one was announced? I haven't fact checked this post.
Not really the side of him I like most, although I think some of that might be that the song sounds a little under-written.
Doubt it's indicative of where he's going, aside from mood (expecting something a little more upbeat than Yeezus - possibly with some college dropout-esque bangers thrown in to combat Drake).
Nice enough little diversion, a fine listen, hope it's not on the album.
to make people un-unlike him (err, like him again) after Yeezus. Like who can really hate on a guy writing a soppy song from his dead mother to his baby daughter? Even if it is a bit half arsed.
Next he'll drop a big old school Kanye banger to really get people onside, before delivering a more populist follow up to the 'difficult' Yeezus. Written in the stars.
Doubt this one will be on the record at all. It's only remotely interesting because it's Kanye West.
along with other McCartney collaborations, apparently.
yeah, it could still change.
no one will know what's going on the album but Kanye. He's been making alternate versions of tracks after they've been released, and changes to albums up until the absolute last minute for years.
I don't know for sure whether it will make the cut. But one thing is for sure... It's not the big single of Kanye's new album, is it? He's put this out to serve a different purpose.
Think that cements its place on the album.
Agree that he's doing what he said he would: as soon as one group likes him, he goes in the exact opposite direction. Wouldn't call it cynical, though. The pattern's established enough for me to think that it's his idea of fun (and actually a belting way to stay interesting). Agree we're probably in for an enormous, undeniable banger to follow in Only One's wake. I expected it first, too, but it looks like this was a smart move.
My main hope is that he's sitting on loads of material and will be doing some kind of world-stopping single series AND an album.
If he released something closer to his core market in the same year. In his mind he can think of Yeezus vs Nothing Was The Same in 2013 as a wash, given that his album was so far out there (and so much better).
But you know it'd kill him to put out a pop album and see Drake outsell it. Hopefully that means all guns blazing this year. So excited.
A single being released by one of the world's biggest artists, when nothing else is, doing alright on itunes for a few days doesn't make a hit record.
I'm not sure if Only One has what it takes to be a Billboard-topping, radio-mainstay, undroppable smash hit in 2015, but I've been proved wrong many times before.
but it sounds like an unfinished 808s & heartbreak b-side
It's a completely unmemorable song written over some improvised piano. As littlebirds says it's only 'interesting' (I use that term loosely) as it's Kanye.
Guys. Come on. This is really rubbish isn't it.
Like it's not that unlistenable rubbish that couldn't find it's place on a decent album, but it's certainly not any kind of a jam
I mean, I've never been one to jump on the "emperor's new clothes" put down, but seriously look at Fact's reviews:
Fawning all over it...
full of peeps desperately trying to figure out what's cool and second guessing themselves in the process. kinda amusing for that reason, though.
Son Raw: Perfect for a Disney princess who went to uni, took an Introduction To Humanities course and now disavows corporate culture, but still won’t listen to music that’s actually any good. (2)
ugh. absolutely loathe this sort of writing.
It never fails to make me apoplectic with rage, and yet I read it every week. The writers are just insanely prejudiced ('oh what's this you're making me listen to Drake well what a suprise it's a limp piece of shit 2/10' repeat ad infinitum).
sounds decent on paper, but not much to it otherwise.
I've noticed a lot of its defense has since turned into generic "why don't you like Kanye you racist" deflection.
It's rubs, naturally.
But you KNOW I'm glad it's a Rihanna single and not a kanye one. He's on a real 'I'm nice again' campaign at the moment but I'd be glad to see neither of the last two singles end up on his new album.
As an aside, nice to hear him sing without auto tune for a change.
really hope it doesn't end up on the album, but rumour is that it'll be on both his AND Rihanna's
I mean, I'm all for Mustard, but if you told me a 14-yo youtube bedroom producer did half his shit I wouldn't bat an eyelid.
It's sort of like a PC Music attempt without any of the joy.
I'm guessing IDFWU is going to be on it, or maybe another Kanye production credit
Not sure how we got to this point, but the last 4-5 songs I've heard him on he's been really good.
last I remember he was getting upstaged by Kendrick on his own track, now I'd probably rather hear Big Sean's new album than Kendrick's (ok not quite, but you get the point)
only one is good
fourfiveseconds is genius
and the dj mustard remix is great too so ridiculous i even love the lead up to the break
IT'S 2015 GET WITH THE TIMES GRANDADS
The video is from the event it premiered at, so might get taken down and not the best quality - anyway, enjoy! Or not as the case may be:
he doesn't even do anything on them :D
must find a link somewhere
is appalling. (Cue 'So Appalled' joke.)
and not even in an abrasive, chin strokey, critic pandering way like Yeezus... Or in a gamechanging, strangely affecting and brilliant way like 808s.
Just plain fucking shite.
Has, charitably, sounded like a sketch or a first draft. We know where his focus is atm and it ain't on music - I think that really shows.
This summer might be a rude awakening for him because, basically, he's always brought the goods one way or another until now. You've got someone like Drake dropping a mixtape of 17 b sides that better Kanye's last few singles. He's obv been sat at home, WORKING for the last year, while Kanye's been ranting about shoes and forgetting why people love him. HITS.
They rewrite history, I don't believe in Yesterday,
and what's a black Beatle anyway, a fucking roach...
Since when did Kanye preview stuff at the Brits?
This sounds pretty good, no new ground covered, but at least it bangs.
but I like it on the whole. He knows how to put on a performance, that's for sure.
Shame he's biting Drake's style and co-opting grime now. Bit late to that one Yeezy!
don't be daft, he's been in touch with grime for years via work and visiting london and fashion, way before drake started watching top boy. skepta and kanye have been trying to work together for a couple of years, kanye's a fan of his music and skeptas mates with kanye's fashion circle.
too busy hanging out with Mr Hudson
awful song already mind, I can't find audio at the moment.
its rare to see something like that. A slow filtering of grime into the mainstream a bit more is a good thing, it feels like its on more of its own terms again now rather than every ones pop house summer track being called grime.
I'd love a alternative universe where some of those lot hit up producers like Hudson Mohawke, Evian Christ, Lunice, Arca and made some mad pop. Those lot were on the UK radar way before Kanye picked them up.
Wish I liked Kanye's music. Just doesn't click with me.
Should be interesting to hear where his head's at right now
Love how been been brought in to do almost absolutely nothing on each track so far
to Super Furry Animals' Receptacle for the Respectable
It's times like this when I regret leaving the country. Mad jelly.
Elijah just pointed out on Twitter that it came out before Novelist was even born haha
Grime guys being on stage not as surprising in that case... Still cool though.
Not as pissed as I could have been looking at the setlist (although it does look fucking great) as I don't like hearing new material for the first time in a live setting. Was really hoping he wouldn't pull some sort of crowd pleasing career retrospective (not that there was any chance of that really)
The whole set is just bangers so the crowd is super hype throughout. The Runaway rants and all that probably have their place, but what I'd give to go to a show like this in a smallish place. So happy for the grime guys too.
He has a track record of using brief flirts with forms of social media like this to promote albums, and rarely does anything like this without a purpose. Would love to see something like the Good Friday series again.
Not much up there at the moment, just a rework of Say You Will and a version of a Weeknd track, but you never know in the future...
Pretty much everything about this album run up has been disastrous, bar All Day, which given the level he built it up to be, was still some what of a disappointment and a big commercial flop.
All day was cool with that grime rip-off performance but the studio version is zzzzzzzzzz.
"Hmm this isn't really a song, is it?" and then I'll sort of get into it despite myself, and then Kanye says he's about to spazz and I know it's definitely not an actual song at all and how the hell did that not only make it out of the studio but become an actual hit record.
Let's be honest, it'd be a minor miracle for the new record to have any of those songs on it and not be a stinker.
idk its just this simple little melody that somehow gets stuck in your head. I think Rihanna sells it really well. I think maybe you haven't experienced it until you've had a group of friends belting along to it around a campfire.
not much going on with this
i needed this. today of all days.
actually chuckled at this
at least he's still taking risks..
from this new album has been fucking dire. I genuinely cringe when I hear any of them, and this one is no exception. The delivery is particularly heinous, with the lyrics coming in a close second.
Dreadful, and I'm a massive Kanye fan.
Seems to be a bit directionless at the moment.
But it definitely feels like some of the magic has worn off.
Real Friends is a big improvement on what we've heard recently, but sounds like it could be from the cutting floor of MBDTF (like, the last round of Good Fridays). Should be way more hyped to hear the Kanye x Kendrick x Madlib track than I am from that clip.
I liked the songs, but feel like they'll probably get exaggerated online because it sound like old Kanye or whatever. Still, good to hear him rapping more naturally
Def better than anything since MBWDTFDF
Seems like a big course correction after the underwhelming stuff from last year. Also, he's obviously trying to fully get back in the game after so long away. This release even had the super-Kanye moment of being taken down after a few minutes and replaced with one that a slight difference in the beat.
@kanyewest: Un momento, there was a slight distortion in the main loop within Real Friends.
@kanyewest: It will be back up shortly. When it’s back up all rippers please rip the new one instead.
@kanye west: New version is up. Please please erase the old one I wasn’t satisfied with the sound quality.
@kanyewest: I hope you have a nice weekend.
Not the best thing he's ever done, slight even, but a step in the right direction.
On repeated listens, could be a solid album track and the Soundcloud re-up sounds better than the low quality rip I heard earlier. Not wowed by it, as some seem to be. A nice Madlib beat on second, if a typical rather than extraordinary production. Assume that'll be a one-off cut for sure.
If he's having troubles finding a new direction, he could do worse than following a back to basics template for a record. Do what you know best.
Would be pretty funny if he just kept releasing songs every Friday all year and gave up on the album concept entirely. If anyone was mad enough to try it...
11th Feb 2016
maybe this won't be a shit album
Which surprised me.
Although he's set the bar for Kendrick guest spots way too high for himself now in fairness.
I guess I shouldn't be as surprised as I am about how good this is though, Kanye + Kendrick + Madlib = flame emoji x 3. Who knew.
but this sounds more like a freestyle that keeps on going and going.
That's sort of the idea here I guess, and as an exercise in "look I still like rapping" it's kinda fun. I'm more interested in hearing an actual song from him though, so of the two new ones I much prefer "Real Friends".
It reminds me a bit of that song "Knock Knock" from the recent Madlib/MED/Blu album. Another great Madlib loop, but less of a dick measuring contest: https://soundcloud.com/rappcats/knock-knock
got used to beats that sound exactly like this now, but was listening to the Quasimoto albums the other day and was reminded how varied and experimental he can be.
Which is why if you're going to loop it for 6 minutes, then you're going to need something special on top to hold attention.
Like The Joy, the Pete Rock produced joint on the last round of Good Fridays. Prolly just using it as a chance to drop a more traditional hip hop track with a producer he admires.
Fuck, it’s great to hear Ye actually enjoying himself AND rapping like this again. Love that he’s dropping these tracks, showing us the gears beginning to work. It’s fascinating, and knowing he can still turn it on (when I think it’s fair to say a lot of us thought he might not be able to) bodes well.
and 'Real Friends' are on the album instead of all the other guff he's churned out in the last year.
The only way he can get away with All Day, FourFiveSeconds and Only One being on the album is if they're substantially altered. It's been a year since we heard them and none set the world on fire.
Real Friends into Wolves as an opener would be too cool, but from there - yeah - surprise me.
Really can't see Real Friends or No More Parties In L.A. making the album... they're cool tracks but definitely fit the mould of GOOD Friday giveaways
white people mad
not even a story really
No More Parties and Real Friends both make the cut. Previously previewed Wolves and Fade are on there too.
But I still don't have particularly high hopes for this.
But I guess that was the case with MBDTF too. Really excited, but doubt it'll be anywhere near the best Ye album, let alone the best album ever.
but both a little bit sketchy and representing a bit of a step back in terms of sound for the first time in his career. It also seems like Wolves and Fade had a different kind of vibe completely so the whole thing might end up a bit disjointed, even if the final versions are great and the rest of the tracks on the album are exceptional. So yeah, I agree, while I'm still looking forward to a bunch of new Kanye tracks the best we could hope for is something on the level of Watch the Throne, maybe.
Anyway, we're supposed to have the official single this week which should be interesting.
and Pitchfork album of the year.
Just throwing it out there early doors.
already has 2 BNM tracks, it's kanye west = at least in the 7s.
utter shite, with 2 good tracks. 9.2.
Maybe this is why Pitchfork have been giving out loads of 7s lately, they're prepping 9.9s for Kanye and Animal Collective next month.
now they'd have to go back on that, and I very much doubt it'll actually be a stinker, given what we've heard from it. So the review will be like, "It's a more low key record from Ye, and not as forward thinking, but it's still Kanye!". 8.2.
fathe stretlh my liadids
no more parties in la
Although I liked No More Parties, it felt very much like a track for him to just stretch his legs again rather than a song. Also, it makes a call back to Real Friends, which will now come after it in the album? Hmm. Hoping for at least a switched-up version...
Also, Real Friends into Wolves would have been a cool, low-key opening. Feels like this will be his least complete and most cobbled together work but yep, it's Kanye, so fine.
Kanye West Talks Up New Album In Self-Important Terms
but its called waves now
So he certainly thinks it will. Sure the tracklist and title will change another 7 times, but it's coming soon...
I was just thinking about a physical release ...
but not actual public ticketed events
i meant it was reported as a listening party for the "final" cut
so a "final cut" 2 weeks before release seems tenuous. at the same time, i think he purposefully gives off this air of restless creative genius to add some mystique to the process. like he changed the title of MBDTF at the last minute, but also said that was always actually meant to be the title he was just fucking around. guess he probably does work up until the minute his record goes to press, but he probably likes to exaggerate it a bit too.
belfast, birmingham, dublin, london, manchester
it's another adidas installation w/vanessa beecroft. boring.
"I am your OG and I will be respected as such"
But in the meantime good to see him on top crazy form.
"This album is actually a Gospel album"
on my T/L going 'kanye is awesome' while simultaneously hand-wringing about the misogyny
I didn't realise the history with those tweets
Have taken a few swipes at each other in the press etc
She just responded:
Awww @kanyewest are u mad I'm not around to play in ur asshole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyAssBitch☝
"I made it so we could wear tight jeans" is the best.
Best was: 'You own Wave? I own your child!' (because if Kanye hadn't left Amber, Wiz would have never had a kid with her).
Yep - great to see him at peak crazy. Great to hear he's (obviously) still in the studio, great to see him adding a song to the track list. I do slightly wish it was one hundred percent new material - but will treasure a studio version of Wolves.
"we". Hip hop? Black people? Was it/they just dying to wear skinny jeans and Kanye liberated a people?
Or standard your baby momma shit which I don't find that funny. I'm laughing at Kanye rather than his insults, which are pretty pathetic tbh
if you think he wasn't on some self parody by the time he wrote 'I own your child', then I don't know what to tell you :)
How people still think Kanye is self aware is beyond me
When he dated her himself, before having kids with a woman famous for making a porno isn't self aware, I don't know what is!
Tickets are available for that album premiere thing
Is this album a promotional tool for his fashion line? IDK!
Pitchfork employees are self-harming, and running around in full-on headless chicken mode as we speak.
Well, that's where I get off. I suspect the album will be a good listen but probably his worst release. He's surrounded it with too much bullshit even for me now. Feels like he's about everything but the music at this stage.
and knocked off 2 points from his score right before release?
I hope it's better than Universal Themes at least
- Endorse Donald Trump?
- Declare allegiance to Islamic State?
- Write a song in support of Jimmy Savile?
That is the album title. Seriously.
No More Parties in LA is no longer on the track list either.
This album is going to be absolute guff.
Called it up there.
Idk, he had already completed his transition from loveable rogue to absolute dickbag and shock-jockey on Yeezus and people dug that
Fwiw all we really heard of this is Real Friends (pretty good), what was probably an unfinished version of Wolves and the beat from Fade which is pretty banging. It's not the guaranteed turd it once was.
It had a call back to a song that came after it in the tracklist and was, probably, just a little scatterbrained for a Kanye album...
I'll be listening with interest. The album name could be worse, and the tracklist looks tight with some guaranteed bangers.
We must also take the lack of Only One, All Day and FourFiveSeconds as a good omen...
But to what extent can the artist stay intact beneath that mantra?
Isn't that a Hot Hot Heat song?
I've actually no idea what to expect. You would think it would be a live show premiering the album start to finish but I'm now wondering whether it'll be a catwalk performance of his new fashion line while the album plays in the background...
Tickets were about £15, I paid £7.20 with the unlimited card and that will be far too much to pay if it turns out to be shite.
Still, going for Pizza beforehand so I'll have had worse nights out I'm sure.
God knows what else will come out of it though. He's sold out Madison Square Garden for it (with tickets starting from $50 I think) so you think some people will be mad if that's it... Then again he clearly doesn't give a shit and would think that was outstanding value.
Without having to go to a cinema ...
No guarantee though
Don't have to be a subscriber or nuthin'.
Starts at 9pm our time.
It's really weird
Ending of 'New Slaves' with Frank Ocean is worth the price of admission alone.
Also don't think it's bad, per se
It's just weird. Oddly compelling, but flat-out weird
When he ends up doing cliched "I like dem girls, I do" stuff (as you say below), rather than following the narrative he was building. After the gut-spilling and woozy sadness of 'Hold My Liquor', the likes of 'I'm In It' sound brain-dead.
and you're like :O. Could this be an album that's experimental, political, catchy, emotional and delivers it all through an air of implied ignorance?
...and then any statement it had been trying to make falls apart, half the rest of the songs do indeed fall flat... Blood on the Leaves is really inexcusable in so many ways. Then it just finishes and you get Bound 2 and it goes from :O... to hmm, actually WTF was that shit I just listened to.
Think Yeezus was a cool and 'brave' experiment but ultimately a failed one.
My favorite songs on it are 'Hold My Liquor' and 'Guilt Trip' tho.
IDK it just feels like the first track which is maybe out of place on the record. Guilt Trip as well... Reckon it could have had a place on a better thought out second half, but it doesn't really feel like the moment for a song that's about 50% outro. LP just ends up a bit of head scratcher after starting tight as fuck.
Those are just the songs I generally return to individually, plus New Slaves – which I still think is great.
Yeezus is messy as hell but I like it for that. I think that it's easy to hear in it the record that it COULD have been which is frustrating on some level, but there's something to be said for its imperfections. It hits a certain spot that none of his other albums do.
Gets more mixed after that, though I love Blood on the Leaves and Bound 2. It's a messy but very enjoyable album.
I hear the first four tracks and think "holy shit, maybe this was actually as good as people made it out to be", then it massively trails off and by the time Bound kicks in I'm like :/
Basically, think it would be very hard for me not to prefer TLOP/Waves/So Help Me God/SWISH to Yeezus.
but then it's just him rapping about teh pusseh
... someone here should live-blog it. That way I won't feel bitter about the fact that I'm at work and can't tune in...
than his last few album covers
but this has started http://tidal.com/gb/tidalxyeezy3-live
Ten minutes till it starts and this stadium is not full!
Tons of empty seats... Poor Yeezy... :(
Ain't working for me.
Zero activity so far so we're not missing much. Whoever is filming in this has the worst LA/TMZ correspondent voice ever btw.
Just from the knees down, mind.
Hope it gets more exciting before I have to catch the bus in... 8 minutes. Not looking good...
I've got a bus to catch. Over to you drakepress...
and let me know if this album is online and if it's any good.
(still hasn't started mind)
it is starting now.
great tune this.
Loving ultra light beam!
famous people are arriving
he is literally playing it off a laptop :DDD
while he stands by a laptop, directing roadies
if i get bleach on my tshirt
i'm gonna feel like an asshole
this track is sick
i think me and taylor might still have sex
i made that girl famous, i made that girl famous
was the earlier stuff better???
though the whole "event" is clearly so haphazardly tossed together it's embarrassing.
mate, this is a vanessa beecroft-directed fashion installation-come-album launch. only the highest form of art there is.
together a window display at 8:54am.
And this song is dreadful.
sounds like it was written, recorded and thrown together in a week of long nights :/
Lazy repetition of trite lines.
It's certainly declining in quality as it goes on.
Just can't believe he's doing an album playback in a sold-out Madison Square Garden (complete with static models ruining any vibe).
"...superstar family, we the new jacksons"
now he's singing about having sex in the middle of a vogue event and starting an orgy
"Taylor Swift still owes me sex" is a lot less gross and is just a light-hearted "we should hook up!" joke.
wish there was anything like that charm in the rest of it so far.
Beats are kind of average, show is wank
so many of the models look genuinely uncomfortable
THIS TUNE RIGHT NOW
this is album of the year shit
Which makes this unveiling a misfire.
Imagine hearing one of Drake's records on a laptop broadcast from a nervous enormodome for the first time?
Initial verdict thus far: I'll be playing it a lot and get into it.
Probably taking time off work for it too.
This is shoddy AF though.
this sounds like it has some interesting ideas on it, but it's very evident that it's all been cobbled together rapidly. And the lyrics are dreadful.
excited to listen to the album properly
is becoming painful to watch.
Hopefully the album's released tomorrow and it can be given a proper listen then.
Feel like that had the effect of making me less excited about getting my hands on the album. If it had just hit iTunes and I'd stuck it on, I think I'd be more intrigued/positive.
That was amateur hour production-wise.
enjoyed seeing the rest of it where the models are dancing to rihanna and beyoncé and they gradually start dancing but there's still loads of them in character too serious to dance
also they cut work when drake came in :DDDDDD
I didn't watch the stream, but from the above, if it's an album of good beats shit rapping then if Kanye didn't produce those beats then it's clearly a shit record. I'm only saying this due to the Madlib beat he used in the run up - maybe he did produce it all. But he outsourced Yeezus.
Anyway. The man is delusional: http://hypebeast.com/2016/2/kanye-west-fashion-investors-lvmh
Since at least MBDTF and even before that to a lesser extent.
Idk I didn't hear the stream either so I'll withold judgement on the album
Saw the whole thing in the cinema. When I booked the ticket I assumed it'd be a live show, wasn't until yesterday it dawned on me that something like this could have happened so went in with super low expectations thinking I could only be surprised.
CHRIST. So, so awful.
The album sounds like it could be great... if he ever finishes it. It's definitely not finished. Some of the lyrics are obviously embarrassingly bad.
The show though. That show. For cinemas to charge £17 to see that. For Kanye to charge $50-$100 a seat FOR THAT!
Still, at least the company was good and we ate fucking great pizza before the show so wasn't a complete waste of time.
but I might just wait for the album to drop based on reports above.
FML --> Real Friends --> Wolves is a pretty sweet run
rapping over arthur russell
:) :) :) :)
(didn't hear listening party)
"my ex said she gave me the best years of her life, i saw a recent picture of her, i guess she was right..."
being that mastering guy, got one day to master the record and he just throws and extra five tracks on there just because
"just mastering the record now!". kanye does it in 5 minutes.
"i miss the old kanye"
doesn't seem like a very nice person either. fascinating watching people tie themselves in knots over this shit though. plus him being married to her sort of makes it hilarious, how he's a critical darling and she's despised by the same cool cats who think he's a genius but wouldn't be caught dead watching the kardashians.
I am a god
Hurry up with my damn massage
Hurry up with my damn ménage
Get the Porsche out the damn garage
Get money, money, money, money
Big, big money, money, money, money
I'm shocked by this revelation, shocked!
She keep pushin' me back, good dick'll do that
She push me back when the dick go too deep
great tunes but don't seem like nice men :(
Tell my wife that I hate the Rolls so I don't never drive it
It took 6 months to get the Maybach all matted out
his 'man of the people' touch.
i get that, but besides beyoncé there is no one else on the planet pushing an explicitly black activist agenda with even half the conviction + audience of kanye (kendrick lamar has maybe roughly half)
he's so far from being a perfect role model but at the end of the day there are a million outspoke celebrities espousing terrible sexist bullshit and almost zero who possess his positive traits. plus, the man has tuuuunes
which i blame on the constant screeching about him. but could you explain - in a 'cliff notes' version - what his black activist agenda is? (not a rhetorical question, genuine) it might even help me block out all the nonsense and bullshit that surrounds him
saying george bush doesn't care about black people on live TV after katrina, calling out racism in the fashion industry, saying "i am a god" as radical self-love in response to pimp/gangster stereotyping, rapping this verse - "watch who you bring home/ they see a black man with a white woman on the top floor/ they gone come to kill king kong" - in a song called "black skinhead", and the rest of that song actually, stanning for beyoncé at awards ceremonies when he sees racial bias (not that he wasn't a dick but i hear his point), bringing 40 grime mcs onstage at the brits because it's the only way they'll get in, saying he wants to "clear a path for people to dream properly," and so on
Kanye's screeching, needy, hypocritical stans are 10 times worse than his haters, imho. so the albums not out, listen to something else.
Definitely recommend checking his music out http://youtu.be/m-TWo72JfFk
His second album should be out soon according to Stones Throw
but i'd swear that was a Ninja Tune release. i'm enjoying it.
Chance may regret his decision
Sounds lots better through earphones and without the accompanying visuals of a shit fashion show.
apart from Kanye himself.
I'm so glad 'No More Parties in LA' is back on it.
Start sounds like Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Rich"
(I've always been a huge fan of Kanyes album closers - this let me down a little tbh. might grow on me though)
all the rest is just bonus
