23rd March 2015
You can hear a new track here:
It's fricking ace.
They are touring in March and April:
When I saw them at Heaven it was almost unbearably loud. Good though.
I frigging love Errors!
No dates near me though boo.
it seems a pretty comprehensive tour - where you based?
This is quite different.
Love the female vocals
Last LP and EP were great. Two new songs are good. Pre-ordered
First track is so lush... woooooooooooo
First listen thoughts;
- The last track is pretty wild. I was wondering why it was only 9 tracks long, but a 13 minute final track makes sense of that.
- The run from Dull Care - Genuflection - Putman Caraibe is simple incredible.
- The two singles fit perfectly on the album.
Overall it feels like a mix of New Relics and Have Some Faith in Magic. Feels nothing like their early work though, which is good (as I prefer their recent stuff) but there's a lack of party-style fun I think? Not sure. But it's strong on first listen. About to spin again.
not a fan of all the pitch shift and they don't exactly excel at guitar solos.
the run from Dull Care to Putman Caraibe is brilliant, as you say.
A couple of tracks I'm not sold on so far. But it's decent on the whole and looking forward to continuing to get stuck into it. Also looking forward to seeing them live.
but how has no one commented on how awful the artwork is yet?
Like it. Not as strong as their last LP/EP but very nice nonetheless
Anyone able to spare a couple of tickets for next Thursday at Oslo hackney can you PM me?
Between this and Lonelady's Hinterland, I'm finally feeling good about 2015.
I will take them from you.
their best album yet, best of 2015 so far too
(for the London show tomorrow? Please? Thanks)
but this is good too
was a really good gig, the new stuff was sounding ace live.
Why does no one care? The new record is fucking glorious.
I do really like the new record and thought they were great. Something really grates me about the amount of backing track they use live though, I know there's only three of them (or four) but it kind of feels unnecessary to try and recreate the record so precisely. Its the first time I've seen them so probably not something unusual for them? Awesome drummer and really enjoyed the support Victories at Sea
