Has anyone listened to them? Are they any good? I can't get in to them.
Are they the fairly recent CD reissues with the stiff hinge? WD40 mate
The ones I'm on about are England's Newest Hitmakers, 12X5, The Rolling Stones Now!, Out of Our Heads and December's (and Everybody's Children)
Is good. Some brutal guitar playing, Keef really starting to get his shit together.
Decembers Children is also good
Rest are very so so "ahm a keyng bay baay-bee" etc.
I'm guessing US one is better as it has Satisfaction on it. Same with all their other US albums (in that they all have those one or two popular songs which the UK versions omit).
What instrument does Keef play?
i have managed to find mono versions flying round on the net along with their early eps. wonderful, groovey gritty R&B. i prefer the english versions.
just called "Rolling Stones" I think, a rather suave picture of them on the front. That is mono, some cracking covers on there.
the albums as they're meant to be, not the American ones with album tracks substituted for singles. Pre-Aftermath albums were covers heavy but I really like them , especially the debut.
As for that original question right up there. The poster has listened to them but can't get into them, but asks if they're any good. I'm confused. In your eyes they're not very good, surely, question answered.
