If you've not heard them then I thoroughly recommend hearing these three before doing your list:
- Inventions - chap from Explosions in the Sky and Eluvium make ambient post-rock
- Marissa Nadler - dark clouds of smoke and mist swirling at dawn
- Keaton Henson - gloriously melancholic classical record
