"Good work on sticking with what you love and not bending to the whims of an increasingly faddish industry, enjoy the show!"
I tried listening to it the other day. i can't remember a minute of it. i didn't make it to the end. although if i had it might have been a miracle. it's over 74 minutes long. clearly in 2014, Slipknot are battling the important issue of CD piracy, by stopping people using any of those old 74 minute CDs to copy this new album onto.
I can't imagine in what capacity either would be relevant.
god knows why
but the second thing was more stone sour nickleback garbage
It's really weird. It's like alternative teen culture just stopped in 2001 and for 13 years kids have been content not to add to the canon. Probably because it's impossible to improve upon, so why bother?
has the exact same playlist from 2001 on repeat all day
Since about 2007/2008.
it was great i've not seen anyone do that in ages
and I'm not a teenager (nor in my 20s)/a goth/depressed/trying to be ironic*
Decided to call the evening 'Nostalgia Fest' as I stopped caring about Korn's output circa turn of the century, but I will pick up Slipknot's new album to see what's cracking - won't be the same without Joey though...

ARRRRRE YOUUUUU READAAAAAY?!
well let me know when you are and we'll get the ball rolling
I saw Slipknot/Slayer/Hatebreed/Mastodon, was alright. Enjoyed Slayer and Mastodon, Slayer did the thing where it actually rained blood and you could see Slipknot's hidden musicians from where we were sitting.
What are Korn going to rain down a la Slayer? Faeces I would imagine
. . . why they assaulted Topshop please.
at Download in 2007.
that was a bit good.
such angriness in the crowd, tho. deep-seated issues all over the place.
They should do a show with System Of A Down and call it the 'Only Nu-metal Bands I Used To Listen To That I'm Not Now Deeply Embarassed About Tour'.
duuudes who had bad taste as teens & hopefully still have their heads up their ass
with the glorious refrain, "Cut, cut, cut me up, and f**k, f**k, f**k me up". Such guttural poetry.
who'd have thought that nu-metal nostalgia would catch on
not my finest moment
I was so wrong:
