Alt-J have gone a bit wang-dang-doodle
I bet even David Cameron thinks he's a bit of a prick there
Sounding 65% less awful live than on record.
That song is offensively MOR on the single though
then it's probably never gonna happen. BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG and I hope I am.
Will get that train moving
and with that, I yield
With a tiny guitar?
jungle - alright
the o'jays - excellent
ryan adams - nah
fka twigs - like the record but a bit rubbish live
vance joy - ipad twat folk
all of their songs sound they were carefully put together in some sort of shit musical laboratory by people who are constantly afraid of knocking things over. battles for people who don't like loud noises.
And you've not even mentioned the affected, squeaky voiced singing
Mr Alt-J has chosen to sound like that
The rest, massive bores.
Yeah it's a Tom Petty americana rehash but it's nice enough and I've always had a soft spot for him.
FKA Twigs was great.
Still, started a love train that's still going strong now.
And she reproduced it almost too perfectly. A bit too cool and self-contained to really work live
despite slightly dodgy vocals during and after the (admittedly tricky-looking) middle 8
loved the first Alt-J album but the new one sounds average and the tracks they played are two of the lowlights
O Jays were good entertainment. one looked like he was struggling to remember the words, one looked in pain even singing the low notes and the other's single diamond-encrusted earring was classic
Really impressed by the slickness of the whole thing. What you'll see on Friday's show is exactly how it went down. No breaks in filming, no re-takes of anything - basically live to tape.
