Sounds like a corker so far.
Could end up being my AOTY I reckon
but sure to be up there in my list.
especially Spook and my current favourite Bonedigger.
This is really, really good isn't it?
but, yeah, I like it. Looking forward to their set at Beacons, only got 30 mins though.
but it pretty consistently amazing.. i remember loving idiot mantra from when i saw them live and it doesn't disappoint on record
As those two are my favourites at the moment but I've heard them way way more. Absolutely loving it on the whole. Reminding me of Youthmovies which is great.
because this is quite messy and was written on a tight deadline - but I interviewed them last week and it's worth a read. the singer's really cool, super brainy with an interesting upbringing and a pretty intellectual and theoretical approach to songwriting. it was hard not to hear the album in a completely new light afterwards. http://www.theskinny.co.uk/music/new_blood/308519-deconstruction_works_adult_jazz_unveil_their_unorthodox_debut
Reminds me of the criminally underrated Skeletons a bit in places
this sounds really nice

unless kanye or newsom do a late drop
lovely new cover here - http://thequietus.com/articles/16194-adult-jazz-hum-oliver-coates-cover
It took a few listens, but its hooks are fully in now. What an album... 'Hum' is basically lodged in my head, nothing's shifting it.
and dismissed it as an Alt-J type thing. I'm clearly wrong and will have to give it another go.
