might have to get that. and then get a vinyl player for it.
weirdly, I *just* lent my CD copy to a friend, after having previewed him a few tracks at mine. I think he rather liked them. He was reduced to head-shaking glee. As one should be, really
OceanLandWorld available too? That album's AMAZING.
But yes exciting stuff indeed and I for one shall be logging on this coming Monday and buying that lot. Funnily enough I dug out my record player last weekend, it was fate obviously.
This is available from midnight tonight.
(A actually it briefly went on sale earlier by mistake but it'll be back at midnight)
If you miss the first press, it is getting repressed, so panic not.
tbf, in my case, I don't spend that much money on music, so these are glorious exceptions. I've now spent £60 on Sing To God, which is probably more than I've spent on everything else over the last 2 or 3 years. But this is a fair reflection of its quality
this WHOLE TIME, and that his 'rehab' has been an evil RUSE by JIM/THE CONSULTANT/BOB LEITH/ETC to pocket SQUILLIONS of pounds from your MISPLACED LOYALTY
but as a person with a record player or room for one, it's not much use for me.
Expensive, definitely, but it hasn't obviously been manufactured in a great quantity, so combining that with the fact that I'm sure they want to raise funds for Tim, I can understand.
Actually, it's not a bad review (bar the 'on speed' bit) and it conveys the confusion and delirium a newcomer to Cardiacs might feel upon experiencing them - it wouldn't do to have the band reviewed by a confirmed, encyclopedically-versed fan, would it? DiS never does that. ;)
:D

Awesome!
I've been trying to get my hands on some Cardiacs vinyl for a while now so will definitely be ordering one of those.
You're a brave man lending anyone that!

I have every release that was released on vinyl on vinyl
Apart from On Land.
I should rectify this and buy the hell out of this on Monday

Excellent
Got mine ordered - very happy :) :) :)
Obviously there's not a cat in hell's chance of a review on here so
here's a rather wonderful one from the Quietus:

Actually I'm reviewing this for DiS
Admittedly I haven't sent it off yet because I was festivaling and forgot to do so but it will see the light of day very soon.
I apologise and good for you, look forward to it.
11/10 or you're dead to me fyffe

tim smith won't be mended with pure thoughts alone

unless you subscribe to the theory that Tim Smith has been DEAD as a SQUASHED BUG
this WHOLE TIME, and that his 'rehab' has been an evil RUSE by JIM/THE CONSULTANT/BOB LEITH/ETC to pocket SQUILLIONS of pounds from your MISPLACED LOYALTY
Appreciate that
but that's a fair wedge for a record...
i really don't get the cardiacs
are they big? does no-one like them?
i thought 200 copies would be gone by now, quite comfortably.
I knew about this
but as a person with a record player or room for one, it's not much use for me.

9/10
You're forgiven, Bland, but just this once :P

I assume there weren't any of those available ;-)
I'm sure it will be 10/10 in a few years!
Darn
I just spent £30 on records the other day.
Still, this was always one of my fave Cardiacs records. I can tolerate them more without the constant sax.
