Song off the new album:
Excited about the new album though
This is just like Triadzz in that it's just a big fucking dumb song without any of the nuance or intricate craziness that underpinned what came before. I mean compare Raptor to some godawful trance shit in the charts like Martin Garrix (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vMh9f41pqE&feature=kp)... not sure which side of the line he's on anymore.
I basically just really, really didn't enjoy listening to that track.
I was hoping that HudMo would have his new one out soon but can't imagine Warp wanting both out at the same time.
Can't believe Rustie is 31 also, he looks like a teenager. His music could do with developing a little from MDMA maximalism. It's great fun, but he's undoubtedly talented and the Sunburst ep was his best moment and that's nearly 4 years old.
I think Glass Swords was his best so far, but even that was a bit patchy. I like the textures of this new song, but yeah, as mentioned above, the beat is pretty uninspiring. Used to have far more interesting drum patterns IMO
sucker for anything with Danny Brown on though
keep playing it loudly, sorry neighbours
Sounds great. quality advert too.
sounds incredible, sort of hope the crowds noises make the album version huehuhe
sounds a bit limp to be an all out banger, and not interesting enough otherwise
Just a shame that they seem to both be off the boil. Really losing any interest in this or the new HudMo but I'm sure they're capable of clawing it back at some point.
At least Rustie has been releasing stuff fairly regularly.
check out his Pusha T remix of Trouble on my mind. Wait for the chorus, it's hilarious:
Back in Scotland now; the music scene in Singapore was just too shite. How's life your end?
Yeah no one talks highly of the singapore music scene
All's well here, although there's too many gigs coming up in the rest of the year that i'm not sure how i'm gonna get to them/afford them all. Nice dilemma all the same
Bit gutted, as I wanted to be 14 again. Thankfully Orgy are playing instead! Not got much else besides that and St Vincent. And hopefully Rustie is he plays (back on topic, and all).
