The same rules/format as the previous months. Feel free to mention as many albums as you like but please make your album of the month clear as it helps with tallying up the scores easier. Also, if you list a bunch of albums without specifying your favourite I'll take the first one mentioned as your album of the month unless otherwise stated. (Sorry to be such a pedant.)

My album of the month is Sharon Van Etten - Are We There.

I've probably heard it six or seven times through now via the streams and finally now that it's been released. It's very much a continuation of Tramp which is not a bad thing at all. A nice slow burner of a record that I can see myself listening to continually for months. Your Love Is Killing Me is the standout track for me but it lack a killer track like Serpents or Leonard on Tramp or Don't Do It or One Day on Epic but nonetheless a brilliant follow up to Tramp. She now has some stunning songs for a brilliant set list that I'm hoping to for at her Koko gig next month.

Unfortunately, I haven't really heard many other albums released in May. I look forward to some good recommendations from this thread.
