FAO: fans of William Tyler/ John Fahey/ Tim Buckley. If anyone cares.
Is it just me or has the Music Board gone seriously downhill in the last couple of years?
great guitar playing
'Of Deathly Premonitions'. All instrumental though (which I tend to prefer in this genre). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trTVW8dq7oY
It'd a ludicrously cheap £7.
I'm also looking into putting on a show for Ryley to headline on June 4th. Will keep you posted.
I'm going to try to make it nonetheless!
definitely going to have a listen. Cheers.
...and I'm loving it. Thanks.
Gonna buy the album, thanks to this thread.
First 2 songs in particular are excellent.
I would have preferred less instrumentals I must admit as the other tunes are the highlight.
There is a lot of Bert Jansch in the album.
here is a playlist I've been running with this type of stuff for a while now, if anyones interested
Will check this out. Not sure Big K.R.I.T track is in the right playlist...
here is mine.
Very Nick Drake, even the cover. Thanks
this has really calmed me down, i'm at work doing over time but my OCD is absolutely dreadful today and getting me very riled up. This is very good, will be giving the album a go later as all i've got is what's on youtube right now.
Some great indie folk artists around at the moment it would seem, check out Wooden Wand if you like this guy.
It's very good!
new record out today, it's pretty good. seems to be more of a jim rourke vibe than the bert jansch vibe from before?
james blackshaw did a similar thing on his first singing album from last year, maybe there's a jim rourke revival
