hilarious that it's being sort of 'sponsored' by Volcom by the looks of things.
i can be excited for this. i hope they are short punky songs though
and the demise/split of TMV was fairly acrimonious
being reported on a bit more widely now:
not atdi, but de facto, tmv, el grupo nuevo, this
but i am pretty excited for an album of this. it's good.
his voice has been borked for ages, he's pulled it back here a little bit by the sound of it but still aint great
it's not a very good rock song tho eh chaps
i just panic bought from here on Gold 2xLP as some US sites are sold out already:
£25 but aaaaaaah
(gold is numbered and ltd 3,500) – not sure if it'll be cheaper though.
not sure how they can verify that, but
im like "Whatever man!! Yeah your first band was the goodone fool"
just spent £35 on eBay on the deloused repressing! Cheers for the heads up guys.
first Patti Smith (I figured she's just old & out of the loop), now these guys - hello, he's a red hot chili pepper!!
he was on Deloused too
it was a good soundtrack
but Kiedis is the only one of em I actively dislike
he's in a couple of good movies but I don't think I like his music
87 episodes! why is this so funny?
fucking terrible. such horrendously adolescent lyrics. honestly think it could be a joke, or just a way to make everyone miss the mars volta
just thought that if it weren't for their history, no-one in their right mind would give a fuck about this band
and seems to be mostly for fun and about C+O being friends again. can't defend it totally, that 50 kilowatts song is hilariously bad, but dunno, it is what it is.
so many bad lyrics, and not in the way that they're famous for, just unbelievably cheesey, like a 14 year old writing their first song. also honestly sounds like Manic Street Preachers quite a lot, but somehow worse. also anyone notice that that bandcamp link we're all replying to doesnt work anymore?
but have taken it down, it comes out properly in october.
is that im now listening to the tremulant ep for the first time in years as its on that bandcamp. very bloody decent isnt it
some people complained that they squashed it but i think it sounds good
and I quite liked it, maybe I've been too hasty or maybe it's just one track
Won't know which one it was till I scrobble though #disworldproblems
