Who's going? Who's as excited as I am? Who wants to buy a spare off me?
love the newest album, really excited.
Will be a fun day spent on the phone trying to work out how to get them up to London. Who the hell sends out physical tickets these days!
Anyway, if all goes to plan should be in the Black Heart for a couple before then hopefully having the time of my life. Can't wait!
...looking forward to it.
Anyone know stage/interval times?
but I'm *more* excited than you! :P
TFOM has been my favourite album pretty much since I first heard it, so I'm really pumped to hear all the old classics again!
Thankfully they're playing twenty minutes from my front door on Sunday though so hopefully will get a few of the rarer FoM classics then!
Have fun everyone - jealous.
Doors - 7pm
Nathan Fake - 8pm
65DOS - 8.50pm
Been waiting so long to hear some of these tracks live. Think this will be my 13th 65 show an it'll be the first time I hear Aren't We All Running.
I'm definitely not on 13 but it's close. I did realise half way through their ArcTanGent set last year that the song I was dancing along to was This Cat Is A Landmine and lost my shit even more ha.
Are you going to either of the Silent Running shows next month? So glad I'm finally getting a chance to see that.
Relieved about that as well, just couldn't get to any of the initial run. Can't wait for it.
20 something maybe. Did 5 last year alone. Beyond excited. Wish it were anywhere but Koko though.
c u there! I would love to hear Taipei if possible!
what's where i was born ;)
both sets were flawless. suprised there was nothing from WWEA but can't fault the performance. light show was great as well.
managed to get right to the front so didn't have to worry about the chatter from the back of the room either.
So, so good to finally see some of that Fall of Math material. Aren't We All Running has been a personal favourite for God knows how long and I'd never seen it live so that was absolutely my highlight. It slayed.
Tell you what as well, I'd have been disappointed if I'd known the second set would have just been Wild Light before but it was wonderful. So much tighter than the Scala show last year and the extra guitarist made all the difference. I was really disappointed by it last year but that show has just kicked it into gear for me.
The light show was excellent as well and I'm not usually someone who really even notices is it that much, really don't know what people have against Koko, I was at front centre of the second balcony bit and the sound and visuals were magnificent. No chatters either which was great.
I fucking love this band.
Really looking forward to seeing them in Berlin. It's been about two years since I last saw them, way too long
So happy they got bullied into this. Had some friends see them in Exeter at the weekend and apparently they seemed pretty bitter about having to do it. I think it was great to juxtapose the two records though. Before the show I would happily tell you that Fall of Math their best album but seeing Wild Light light again with more time for it to settle in was amazing. Totally agree with everything said upthread.
My only slight downer was the chit chat during the whole thing. It was drowned out by the NOIZE but kinda ruined The Last Home Recording and I love that track.
Gutted I missed Nathan Fake as I was at work. Did many people watch him? I guess he was under no illusions that everyone was there for 65.
Also met their uberfan RachyB again last night and I'm pretty sure she said it was her 65th show. Cray-Z.
