Any of you lot going?
You could put that line up in a Luton sewer, and have it organised by Hitler and I would still go.
...wouldn't put it past them though
its a cracking line up
at the same time as the World Science Fiction Convention. At least I might overhear some good music whilst attending the latter for work.
A decision shall be made closer to the date.
although I haven't got tickets yet. Super price for that line up, although no quite sold on the venue.
Good work sean.
Can imagine James Blake and Darkside being proper dishwater live.
That was first album as well. He's a really engaging performer.
Excited to see that new Black Death Metal band or whatever.
must check them out
That is both cheaper and closer my house. Will probably wait for day splits to see which one to go to.
LINE UP SO FAR:
15th August 2014
THEE OH SEES
I BREAK HORSES
16th August 2014
NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL
THE VAN PELT
SUN KIL MOON
YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN
Not sure about the Friday.
Haven't part with the cash yet, for obvious reasons.
Given the price, and the venue, they must be relying on / assuming a pretty sizeable crowd right? Tickets are basically half what they were at IBYM stuff at Ally Pally, so think double the audience or so.
Only really interested in the Friday but don't know if I can make it or if it will even go ahead, so we'll see
think peoples fears of it not going ahead are overstated. Pitchfork and Primavera are co-promoting it, so i doubt they would let it fall apart/be cancelled for their own brands sake...
if they cancel, it will be due to people like you not buying tickets
only way this gets cancelled is if an absolute ton of people who'd like to go decide to wait and see. even then its unlikely cos of the partnerships with primavera and pitchfork (as mentioned above).
people like them not buying tickets is due to people like ATP having a bad record when it comes to cancelling festivals so...*shrug*
ATP seem perfectly capable of finding in-house reasons for fucking things up
never known my goodwill for a promoter go down the shitter as quickly as it did with ATP. So nah no ticket for me, I'm pretty much just boycotting all their events as stands.
even if there was only a 10% chance of getting to see TVP i'd still be buying a ticket.
annoying because i was being bratty and sulking about atp not doing any more uk weekends but the line up to this is too good. plus it's practically next to where i work so no travel costs for me.
If you love Spotify so much, why don't you marry it?
As this thread is bumped their seem to be a few red flags on the will wal companies house thing
"Status: Active - Proposal to Strike off
Last Accounts Made Up To: 31/05/2013 (TOTAL EXEMPTION SMALL)
Next Accounts Due: 28/02/2015 OVERDUE"
They've probably already created five new companies. Depends which one's taking your cash...
Yeah and dunno if change of director means anything
