I personally think it's a toss-up between Menswe@r, JJ72 and Supersister.
we've already gone through the early 90s revival, now it's time for the golden years of 94-97
A la Fleetwood Mac
is that more people realise how sensational JJ72 were
The first album is an absolute belter, especially Snow and Algeria.
Had they come out four years later or earlier they would have reached Muse/Radiohead levels of fame.
They would have been pretty big if it wasn't. But my God... so bad.
I hope they get critically rehabilitated, I have a signed original issue of October Swimmer that I would happily flog on ebay.
based on the fact my old boss used to play Oxygen in the kitchen and it ruled
Just reading up on this band because I really, really like this album. They were all about 20 when they got big, younger than I am now. Jesus.
First Haim, now the up and coming aussie band The Preatures...
So yeah, the mid to late 70's soft rock sound might be a thing.
it's not only been back forever but is seen as the pinnacle of recorded sound
It would be utterly massive and probably result in their critical rehabilitation I reckon.
