good
i like her
One of the few artists
Whose music is actually suited to the album trailer snippet format.
Really liked Whokill, hope this lives up to it.
Still not typing the stupid fucking punctuation though.
Great news
Been thinking since the start of this year that it's about time she put out a new one.
Like others, however, I disdain that ridiculous use of capitalisation.
New song

Glorious nonsense, loving it.
And some more tour dates I think
05/12 – Village Underground, London, UK
06/26 – Concorde 2, Brighton, UK
06/30 – Gorilla, Manchester, UK
07/01 – Cockpit, Leeds, UK
07/02 – Trinity, Bristol, UK
I hope she plays Glastonbury :(
because I wont be in Brighton, due to being at Glastonbury, and I really wanna see her esp after dat new single had me foot tappin
That is a Glastonbury shaped hole in the U.K. Shows
Merrill seems like the type to spend the whole weekend there doing guerills gigs with a beatbox. Shame, I'm not going and would prefer her to play a show in the midlands for once.
Free Butt Brighton 08 or 09
Remains one of my favourite gigs ever to this day.
And I missed it because I bumped into friends at the penthouse
and got trashed with them forgetting the time
also
playing September 3rd, Brixton Electric
Another new song

I've been listening to the album for the past 2 weeks...
and I still have no idea what to make of it...part of me loves it, tracks like Left Behind, Water Fountain, Hey Life and Time Of Dark are some of the best she's ever made. But some tracks are a bit on the crap side, mostly Look Around, which, for a tUnE-yArDs track is shockingly boring.
It will be interesting to see what the critics make of this...
Sounds a bit like what I thought of Whokill
First half contained some of the most arresting, technicolour music I've heard, second half was just a bit drab. Will be interested to hear this one.
oh
if anyone somehow has spare tickets for the Village Underground gig then I would absolutely love to buy them, as I'm totally in love with the support band Sylvan Esso as well. Darnnit.
