First acts were announced this morning:
Only really interested about Baths, The Range and Young Fathers at the minute.
Compared to last year's stellar line-up.
it's like all those faux sepia tinted indie bands who can't play instruments that guntrip splashes all over fb and twitter. (luv u daniel)
but yeah, lineup not so appealing first up
Even without him, that's still a great line up for £25 you barrel of moaners.
Not really *that* familiar with lots of the names on the lineup tbh.
as Baths was the big swing into me staying in London.
£20 each. Can't make this anymore.
I need to chat to the thinly veiled tonight but *might* take you up on the offer if you still have them?
I bought them
I kind of want them more now I can't have them.
but you do make a convincing argument. Let me think about it.
you cannot have them
Only need one ticket now, so am selling one at the price I paid for it which is... Twenty Pounds!
PM me if you're interested.
which is really bloody great news.
are they playing?
Don't know why I'm asking really, they bored me to tears at Primavera.
seemed to get some good reviews last year. anyone know what sort of time the music starts and ends?
and great fun. I got there around 5pm last year and bands finished around 11pm. I think bands probably started at around 3pm maybe. I'm away on holiday and so can't make it this year. I've just got into a band called Alvvays who are playing at the festival. Overall, the line up last year was better but it would be a no brainer for me and I'd no doubt get a ticket if I was in the country.
except what I'm already familiar with. Oh dear.
...and even though there's no headline acts to compete with last year, I still think it's good value for £30. If I wasn't completely skint, I'd be there, but I'll probably regret buying Jabberwonky tickets instead.
Oh, pre-party with Dam-Funk will surely be a lot of fun too.
and up on Clashfinder
Cracking result - wave pics opening. I'm sure they weren't on the original line up.
but the most painful clash has gotta be Young Fathers & The Range. Also torn between Perfume Genius & Polica too. Have heard bad things about Polica live, these based in fact at all?
They've not staggered the times too well have they? Hmmmm. No news on wristband pick ups at all?
Bit annoyed with some of the clashes tbh. Oh well.
Deffo: Cheatahs, The Range, Sophie, Nathan Fake.
I think it'll be Wave Pictures, Alice Boman, Alvvays, Eagulls and Polica with a decision made about the 7/7.30 slot on the day. A shame about the Perfume Genius/Polica clash, but I reckon I'll be in a dancey mood by that stage.
... I have my tickets, but most of my friends who were supposed to go didn't manage to get theirs.
Don't suppose anyone has spares to sell? Ideally I need 3, but would also take 2.
If there's any going?
Perfect Pussy, Eagulls, Young Fathers, Veronica Falls, Nathan Fake for me.
Very nice indeed. Rainer were good too
