that is unbelievable
but its still very pretty indeed
Chris Martin's dancing though. Honestly.
he's worked with them before - could easily just be a jon hopkins track actually
did they have a massive falling out after the last album?
Thats why I always had that inkling John Hopkins is a techno Coldplay, because he is! Had no idea the two did stuff togthere.
I have no idea about eno, hopkins, coldplay now a days they've all been awful for many years. I just always had that same feeling from hopkins music as I did coldplay, that really well made precise heartstring pulling illusion of deepness thing going on thats so boring but seems to work for a lot of people.
It's certainly better than anything off of Mylo Xyloto, with the exception of maybe 'Charlie Brown' and 'Hurts Like Heaven'.
but that is a U2 song i'm pretty sure
(the title for example) but mostly because the verses sound exactly the same as 'Scumbag' by Green Day.
hearing Coldplay not trying to go for some u2-stadium like vibes, or try shamelessly to tick all the boxes? Cause I feel like this is the kind of song I won't get as sick of hearing as I did say Paradise.
wasn't them just doing a song in the style of another artist.
I get what they were trying to do, and normally I kinda like this kind of thing, but the actual song is just really boring. Also, while kudos to them for trying something different (if not exactly new), soaring melodies and huge hooks are one thing that Coldplay do better than most bands on the planet, and to abandon that completely kinda just feels like a bit of a waste.
but i quite like this. not so keen on the vocodar, but it's not too annoying.
the 3 minutes before is done better by Volcano Choir.
