Whenever a Carter thread is started on here it always generates a solid six to ten replies, so I figure there must be some folk who will be interested - on Saturday November 22nd 2014 Carter USM will play their last ever gig at their spiritual home Brixton Academy.

Admittedly 2007 was also supposedly their last show, but apparently they mean it this time - presumably they've decided that both they and us have gotten too old for this type of caper.

Yesterday's presale saw 2,500 tickets shifted in 10 minutes, which suggests that they still have their core fanbase out there. There's another presale this morning if you're quick (link below), otherwise general release is 9am tomorrow.

Pretty good going for any band to be able to fairly regularly sell out Brixton Academy with essentially zero traditional marketing.
