I'll go for something obvious: nirvana nevermind.
Greatest album cover ever. The reason LP's are so big is for artwork like this
Spiritualized - Ladies & Gentlemen we are floating in space
for the cover/gatefold image; ELO - Out of the Blue
Blondie - Parallel Lines
that came in wooden boxes packed with dirt, leaves, feathes and bone.
never got one though.
Smog - Knock Knock
Great debut (okay it's an E.P) - what a visual introduction to the band.
Oozes visuals of the sound the album delivers.
The cover and album go together as being brilliantly twee.
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf.
Crisp and clean. Lovely.
although my CD copy started to tear around the folds.
The best and coolest rockstar of all time looking his best and his coolest. Utterly iconic. I love the 'dropping slime' style lettering, iggy hated it though.
