Have I missed a thread about the second Warpaint album?

Listening to it without knowledge of the first album and enjoying it greatly. Weirdly, it has been the subject of a mean-spirited review from Pitchfork this morning (5.7) - what do people make of 1. the album, 2. this shit review?
