Allow me to be the first to suggest that said event will only disappoint u.
*as you were*
not much else to do around here, may go
I've just come back from a week there with the family, or rather just down the road.
it's nice and all just a bit boring especially now the cinema and bowling alley have been closed down, they were shit but at least they were something. now all we have is pound shops and mansun conventions.
It does sound it a bit boring, TBF. At least Chester-rocks (http://www.chester-rocks.com/) hasn't gone bankrupt. Yet.
A day at the races sounds as dire as anywhere else in the world if this review is anything to go by:
"Agree with all the other reviewers - brilliant day out getting drunk and betting on horses that have no chance of winning. Only whinnying. Geddit?
I like the fact that you can get really close to the horses as they come in. Racehorses are a lot smaller than I thought they would be.
Great day out."
so that's out. I've never been to the races and don't plan to, town is a nightmare after, just #lads wondering round looking for a fight.
When I was at Uni there we at last had Odeon and Cineworld
getting a two screen cinema in 2016 apparently, wonderful
finally pick up the 7"s i'm missing
Never heard of that.
I mean I love Mansun and that but I'm not sure I could imagine havinga conversation of longer than, I dunno, 10 minutes about them
Man vs. Sun
a nice, wide open space?
but the venue is genuinely awful, the listings are probably some of the worst i've ever seen
Looks like you guys are really keen to attend our convention, so I thought you'd appreciate me posting the ticket link :)
Are you actually going to this, champ?
then go for a pint in Telfords Warehouse, Chester isn't as shit as people on here make out.
it's nice, i don't take that for granted but i suppose it depends on what you're after. telfords nice but very much for middle class/aged types who want to drink fancy beers. there's really not much to do at all.
but then... tribute bands..........
i'm gonna go
