I still think Larry Clark could make a good film out of Separation Sunday. There's probably other directors who'd do it better, but he was my first thought and I'm sticking to it.
I mean, Lifter Puller, in hindsight, was almost a front for Craig Finn's undying love of just making songs about people, and that was pretty much all Separation Sunday was too.
Craig Finn does it better than almost anybody, because he just GOES FOR IT.
