That was a fun weekend, eh? Possibly the weakest line-up I’ve ever seen at ATP yet if anything that seemed to lead to even greater enjoyment, hedonism and general goodwill across site.
Kudos to chalets 169 (so packed on Saturday night it resembled a human wave machine) and 660 (non-stop karaoke until 6am, including Camber security guard [redacted] joining in) – great hosting.
Also kudos to Barry ‘Hulk’ Hogan for some wonderfully bitter programme notes. Dignity’s over-rated, eh?
From the sublime (Marquee Moon was, against all odds, wonderful and moving) to the ridiculous (DiS football round-robin air hockey: vamos crowned Champion of Champions and King of Southend) please share your memories of ATP End of an Era, pt.1 here and – why not – maybe even ATPs past too…
Farewell Camber – we will not see your grubby like again.
