I'm normally an albums sort of chap, but love these below - list some of your favourites and why you like them:
Monsters, Robots and Bugmen:
(got me into post-rock in a big way in the 90s - just quality artist after quality artist with no cast off tracks)
At The Controls (James Holden)
(current favourite, with really strong openers and a great variety of tunage)
Oceans of Sound (David Toop)
(one of four doubles collated by Toop, the first being about 'sound' - highlight being a transition from Debussy to Eno via MBV, the second 'electro' (Booming on Pluto), the third 'guitars' (Guitars on Mars) and the fourth 'vocals (Crooning on Venus) - there's even a book. High concept and great implementation.
