Manic Street Preachers - Rewind The Film
Scared I'll like it
(Its unlikely. I don't like their style of music even when it's critically revered).
But most of those sort of bands, with their unironic melodrama and Mom's-apple-pie sense-of-entitlement narcissism, have no relevance to any Briton past puberty and with a sense of irony and wit.
Cheer up, it's just music. "Unironic melodrama"? LOL. They're not MSP yet.
It was a tongue-in-cheek to Stuart Maconie angrily inventing Britpop (then dubbed 'Lionrock?') in 1993 Select magazine.
But then again, I pretty much *am* Stuart Maconie in 1993.
which was a curious term invented by NME to describe the band Cud, and noone else. Most odd.
"Scared I'll like it".
I think it's a big possibility because it's a really enjoyable listen.
Regarding their style of music, I checked all their older albums after I listened to their new album. Overall, their new album is better than the old stuff (singing, production, songs, lyrics, riffs, etc) and it's also consistently great (excepts maybe few songs less good). It's also softer, more melodic and more complex.

Give it a listen. I think it's my favorite Paramore song. I love it.
I've heard little bits and it really doesn't sound like the kind of record I'd want to listen to. If MSP weren't one of my favourite bands I'd dismiss it entirely.
The title track and I Miss The Tokyo Skyline are awesome. The penultimate track is a very good instrumental, possibly better than Horses Under Starlight.
Is in incredible. I love This Sullen Welsh Heart too.
If I want to listen to an album I'll just, y'know, listen to it.
I know this probably doesn't count as it's over 10 years old but I remember playing it a lot back in the day and loving it. Very suspicious of it sounding pap now, i don't think i've listened to Eminem since then.
I AM TERRIFIED OF IT. I just know it's going to be a disappointment.
from New Order or members thereof. It's like Paul Gascoigne - you want to remember the Gazza of Italia 90 or Euro 96, but all you can think of is the trembling, emaciated alcoholic.
The band Oasis could have been
