I'll dig out my Linkin Park CD again
It's impossible to not like these songs.
that are completely shit and wtf (like everything by the Who and 99% of Elton John) and then there are Fleetwood Mac's Rumors and the Stones' Gimme Shelter and Zep's Stairway to Heaven ... that if you discount *heard it a million times* as legit criticism ... then this ...
And the Best Of Diana Ross & the Supremes ... stuff that even if you really hated it you'd think twice before announcing that opinion to the world. (Cos somewhere in the back of your brain you understand it's like an artichoke...and that artichokes somehow turned into the greatest vegetable ever).
And the Libertines. Can we all finally agree the Libs were fanatastic??!!
Or universally adored
and artichokes are shit
because he acts so much as if he were an incredible artist and musical auteur, while occasionally making some music
are embarrasing. And always were. So no. We won't be agreeing.
nah, I don't believe for a second that there's still people who haven't been sick of that damn song since at least the Wayne's World movie. Even discounting the idea that people were born after the movie came out, I don't buy that anyone didn't get sick of that song on their own after a few listens.
this goes for most of Queen's discography.
Overblown, meaningless, pompous monstrosity. Utterly bereft of fun, sex or any of the other things that make pop music ace.
We won't be agreeing on that one.
As is most Queen.
Nobody has a bad word about that song surely?

There are many, many other great artists, but they didn't have hits...
Anyway, I like all songs mentioned by me.
