It seems that trip hop is cool again.
*(well, that and the upcoming m.o. single)
If so I guess I'm not a big fan of trip hop cos i really don't rate her
but still probably my least favourite thing she's put out. the LP is gonna be sweet though.
Everyone should check out the SZA record that came out earlier this year, didn't get much press but it's GREAT.
Ghost House? Witch House? That's what this sounds like.
I was full of a cold and not really in the mood, but for some reason decided to go along anyway.
Hugely impressed. New songs sound great and more varied than I was expecting. Pitch-perfect throughout and really polished performance, as if she'd been doing it for years (maybe she has).
Was really impressive live. She's playing in London tonight but it's £20, which seems a bit mental.
mainly because I hadn't really listened to her much but was pleasantly surprised. Great warm up for JB too.
Manchester was £10.
it was £12.50
not sure about the album tracks i've heard so far, seem a bit more pop than the EPs, production is quite different, will see.
She seems to have a lot in common with BANKS though so I'm in.
Really wasn't expecting much but was blown away. Sounded great.
New album is getting rave reviews.
papi pacify and how's that were still the most bangin' tunes of the set though, slightly concerned about lack of bangers on LP1.
but this focus on 'bangers' is a bit depressing. She's not Katy Perry.
sounding a little inconsistent, but amazing at times
think water me is still my favourite song she's done. few tracks on the album sound pretty good though
The lyrics/music are so fresh and meaningful. Hope she doesn't compromise her creative voice when/if she becomes more widely known.
