The guy's last album was wonderful, she needs a bit of his influence.
A Beck and David Byrne team-up would be very interesting, hasn't already happened has it?
I'd love to hear what Ice.Sea.Dead.People acting as Little Boots' backing band would sound like...
Used to put Iranian goatherders in the studio with a gamelan orchestra and see what happened, other out there stuff, don't feel anyone really does that anymore. closest we have to goats is fucking Florence wailing shit on whatever record she gets paid to guest on.
No idea how this hasn't already happened.
I like both, but I think Prince had pretty much absorbed the Nile Rogers play book by the time of his second album (that's not to denigrate Nile, just a mark of Prince's talent).
But only if they make up with Hooky and write some decent songs.
This could actually freshen up a band that, no matter how good, sounds really dated and stale these days. Will never happen, though, because they're half glum and half cunts.
someone like Jon Hopkins or Ulrich Schnauss with Bradford Cox. or Kurt Vile. 10 minute long loops.
sorry, my heart isn't really in this joke
Oh wait they are...
would be interesting
Something he's talked about in interviews for years ... no idea what it'd sound like
or really any collaboration between a metal band or whatever and a pop producer
don't really know much about rolo tomassi
there's something i really hate about this band
Burial & Zomby
how good could Burial and Grouper be?
Nick Cave + the real Bad Seeds
I'm sick to death of duh duh ft. dwah dwah.
It's not to say good collaborations don't exist. But now mainstream music is so awash with them that I, king-elect, decree a moratorium on all collaborations for the next 5 years.
so it'd end up sounding the same as Tame Impala
(which you quite oviously aren't).
I'll check it out.
definitely better than mirrored
worked well with Hegarty on 'Blind' and Robert Smith on 'Not in Love'.
Moz and Digitalism or something.
could be fucking horrendous.
