It's more folk than Seventh Tree was, and it's even way more dreamy and nostalgic. I also hear here a resemblance to Beth Gibbons' "Out of Season" pastoral ambient, and not so much a new "Felt Mountain".
Many people are disappointed by Goldfrapp when it comes to expectations: "Black Cherry" was hated by almost everyone because it came after "Felt Mountain", and the same goes for "Head First", and so on.
Whatever. This is wonderful music and that's all you need to know.
