- Doom Metal
e.g another style of Jamaican music.
for example another style of jamaican music
early Swans, innit
I associate the genre more with Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Einsturzende Neubauten, Coil, et al.; though Swans were obviously influenced by them.
oddly enough I used to dislike early Industrial as I was more familiar with the EBM and Ministry/NIN strains. Now I find the earlier bands much more interesting.
Blues (at least any made in the last fifty years)
amazing, you found a way to make "I like all sorts of music! except rap" even more explicitly racist :D
Going to have to pick some more defendable genres if you want any bites in this one. Something like techno or hip-hop should get the music board atwitchin'.
Though I will write-off this thread...Raggae, jesus
Jazz/Funk (Shalamar/Shakatak etc)
maybe you don't like music very much?
Give me good ol' fashioned whale noise recordings any day
and don't get me started on those whining Whale cunts.
You fucking cretin.
But still, you fucking cretin
Did I just step into the fucking Twilight Zone or something?!
It's just not dubstep as people see dubstep now.
even more boring than 'false' dubstep/brostep/etc
Dubstep includes a pretty wide range of artists to dismiss outright. Shackleton, Benga, Martyn, Kode9, Pinch, Coki, Mala, Joker, Burial... Not all of that is 'pure' dubstep, and most who made that have moved on as it was fairly limited, but it's pretty shortsighted to dismiss the genre outright.
Some of it has really dated, but people still make great 'true' dubstep. This is one of my favourite tracks of the year:
'bring me weed' is such a cringey title
Bring Me Weed, Roll that Weed, Smoke Some Weed... all sound like perfectly good song titles to me.

to an empty room, because everyone had completely written him off
I mean I could look it up but y'know I'm tired and can't be bothered. Rockabilly recommendations please.
Train Kept a Rollin' - Johnny Burnette
Big River - Johnny Cash
Blue Suede Shoes - Carl Perkins
Fujiyama Mama - Wanda Jackson
Race with the devil - Gene Vincent
Quite like it these thanks.
Ska and any variation on it
Totally unable to relate to or enjoy it.
great work that all the people in this thread being earnest have just listed music associated with black people
it's the whitest thread alive
That's contemporary R&B, as opposed to older style rhythm & blues. Shit fucking sucks.
You should get your facts right before you accuses me of being a racialiser!
Wobbly ( Y )
Do you mean music specifically created to make a soft porn video to be shown in daylight hours on a music channel?
Lumineers, Mumfords, Jake Bugg, Edward Cunting Sharpe & the Magnetic Fucking Zeroes. Really gets right on my fucking tits.
Reggae/Dancehall (Modern stuff mainly because of the sexism/homophobia, but do like some tracks by Wayne Lonesome and some of the older reggae is great)
EDM (what is this!? Exciting Dance Music as opposed to IDM?!)
Folk, or specifically folk that thinks it can get away with bleating pastoral misery over a couple of minor chords and a break for a tedious violin solo. Encapsulated to a tee in the Roddy Wooble solo album that was just miserable depressingly folk by numbers. Blues is just as guilty of this when it's at its most complacent.
Modern R n'B (UNLESS it invokes the spirit of new jack swing...! Too many ballads, too few tunes)
There we go, that's enough sweeping generalisations for now.
Just because a swarm of bellends in recent years have resurrected buzzing synthy Tangerine Dream cosmiche wank, doesn't mean Faust aren't the best band in history.
Released a few really great albums in the 70s too.
Country AND Western
I don't think I even really know what trap is, but it's the stupidest name for a genre I've ever heard.
And I live in Bristol.
