Not necessarily bad albums, just ones that don't nearly live up to the hype and are eclipsed by other, better works.

Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children

Geogaddi is easily the better album: better individual tracks and even the segue tracks stand well on their own, yet it totals up as a much more coherent whole. I think "Music..." meanders a bit too much. (and if I can further rub salt in the wound, Tomorrow's Harvest is pretty boring.)

My Bloody Valentine - Isn't Anything

anyone who tells you this album is better than Loveless has the wrongest opinion to ever be wrong. Where the YMMR and FMWYK EPs sounded very confident, this album has always felt like an experiment in progress that doesn't always work.

Primal Scream - Screamadelica

was this album ever not dated? It has some good tracks, but I'm amazed that it still has the following that it does.
