A twist on the usual 'new bands' thread which ends up with people thinking you need to exclude a band who are great but have released a 7inch that about 3 blogs wrote about are something everyone is aware of, so are too big to be mentioned. However, feel free to link to a band who've just put their first demos on Bandcamp if you like. Or who have a debut album that's vaguely out but it didn't get much coverage. I'd also be curious to know whereabouts you first heard them, if you remember.

Mostly starting this thread as I've heard the first new band for quite some time that I really like, and am looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks times (which has made me hungry to listen to new stuff again). I feel like I might have heard them before, but maybe not.

So yeah, this is basically a thread for newish stuff that you like, regardless if they've been knocking around a while. I mean, you could, if you so wished, mention HAIM and CHVRCHES, as neither have put out their albums out yet.
