Anyone been before? Worth going?
it was really really fun, even with the insane Chicago climate (40c, bone dry, baking sun). nice crowds, good set-up (two big stages that alternated + a small one on a different schedule), lots of fun late night shows after the festival finished.
plus Chicago is lovely.
but the line up that year looked so much better than this one (and this one is still damn good). Mega jealous
I missed the entire of the first day because my train was delayed by nine hours :(
It's kind of like a non-disappointing Field Day. Chicago's a fantastic city too.
really wish Chance The Rapper was playing though, having just got into Acid Rap in a big way. Also pretty sure I'm gonna die from the heat - I've been struggling with the weather in Edinburgh at moments over the last month :(
Looking forward to it after all the positive views on here.
and there's a few afterparties that are worth going to as well where you can see some of the bands (from other days) around the city as well, if u miss them :)
re the weather, i'm in toronto and its really crappy and humid at the moment, but not too bad. i'd rather this than constant rain at the festival.
anyone got any chicago recommendations, considering i'll be there for a couple of days around the festival?
