Whilst getting halfway through a blog post which I will not link I'm pondering the best live act at the Glastonbury (the best festival surely) ever?
Showing my age I hitched to Glastonbury as a 15 year old in '85 and have seen some great performances such as New Order, The Cure, Husker Du, The Pixies, Beastie Boys, The Prodigy and hell, even Oasis were amazing in '94 on the NME stage.
I'm considering the Happy Mondays in 1990 as the best performance ever even though I'm not a 'fan' of the band. The vibe that night was incredible. The right band at the right time. The field carried on partying after they left the stage for ages.
What's the best show ever at Glastonbury?
