and she still puts on brilliant gigs. Her voice seems as strong as it was during the 70s.
Was looking forward to it but kind of not expecting much, other than a nice gig of a great artist playing some nice tunes.
But fuck me, that was mindblowing. Land > Gloria made me feel a bit sick.
love for her fans and they give it back. Always makes for a lovely atmosphere.

She didn't seem very impressed.

Patti Smith was completely amazing wasn't she? I was tentatively preparing myself to be disappointed by an ageing rockstar but my god how wrong I was.
