I went back to my parents at the weekend and was driving my younger brother's car, and rummaging in the glove box to find a CD to put in. There was a load of random stuff in there, including various ones I'd passed down when I'd deemed myself too cool and over them, and one of those was Up All Night. For old time's sake I put it in, and you know what, it really holds up. Really good songwriting. An amazing sense of dynamics. Tight. Not too long. Catchy. It's a minor classic of it's period, and for all the sins they committed after, they should still be known as a band who made one really good album.
HO IS RAZORLIT? etc.
