I liked the first album a lot, but this is a lot different and feels like a step up for me.
'Incompatible' is probably my favourite on it.
Couldn't get into this at all. I quite liked the first album but I find his voice a little whiney and the beats are too 'all over the place' for me. The songs sound like they're constantly on the verge of falling apart. I'm sure that's intentional but I really dislike it. He's hot though.
Interesting that you think that's the case more than the first album though - that was a much glitchier/sketchy affair to my ears. Not that that's a bad thing, I like records like that - but these songs are much more complete sounding to me. Can see how his voice/lyrics could grate though - I seem to gravitate towards very whiney music.
Mist be a good album then.
Was the thread title pun intended?
I liked the first Baths album a lot
But I'm on a very limited budget at the moment so this will have to be really good.
Please note, no bath pun in the above
This is pretty stunning

Songs that sound like they're constantly on the verge of falling apart
is how I'd like to define my music taste.

To be fair I haven't given the new one more than one proper listen
I'll definitely revisit it. :)
