Not heard them yet but they played the Redhouse in Sheffield last Sunday. By all accounts they sounded exactly as you'd imagine they would sound, which is probably a good thing.
nat supported sf at their last show. was pleasant.
line up for this band is three acoustic guitars -_-
have you heard the posthumous Standard Fare single?
just meant there's a lot of cross-over in the Shindie scene at the moment. Nat and SF have appeared a few times together, shared studios, got that SPC sound going on. It's good times! (Although I wish Kid Acne was still making records).
Apparently there was an odds and ends CD-R available at their last gig that I managed to not see, which is super annoying.
Last single is great though!
26 songs for £3!
It was the exact length of journey, which was weird. The final track literally finished as we pulled up to my house.
Another reason why Standard Fare were great.
YOU WERE IN LOVE
I'M PRETTY SURE OF THAT
BUT SOME!HOW! YOU FELL! OOOOOUUUUUTTTTTTTT
Whilst trying not to punch out a window <3 (yes, it's all happy sunshine days in the PO hosuehold right now)
I really miss Sf too <3
fuck. sometimes it just hits me how this was one of the best bands ever. they should reform.
omg this is too spooky (not really, I think we both listen to them a fair bit.)
i did see Emma play this Saturday gone though <3
already listened to The Hermit about 5 times.
