Recently I've found myself using Spotify more and more and I'm tempted to go for Premium...

Is this a really dickish way to consume music though? There are so many articles/rants/stats which show how Spotify contributes so little to the industry.

Would a more artist friendly way of doing things be to keep using the free version and then put that £9.99 a month on CD's/t-shirts/gigs etc?
