on the same day BoC announce a new LP.
God, if it is though......
now we just need them to come over here
Now all we need is Fugazi news and the music boards will self-implode!

. . . on vinyl I'd be all over this:
Definitely going to try and get tickets if they come over UK way.
Well played, Monday. Well fucking played.
And going off that weird show at King's Arms in Australia, the Walking Wall of Bears Incorporated show.
But if you think about the last time that those four people played under that name... it's insane.
but, like, you know that 3/4 of this lineup was on the jeff mangum tour, right? it's just jeremy barnes being added? i assume it means they'll play the loud songs and play them loud and that'll be great, but cmon folks
at union chapel it was more than 50% solo, and all but one of the songs that weren't only add bowed saw added or something like that.
a Neutral Milk Hotel show will be completely different.
is mainly just him and a guitar anyway.
like i say, the loud sounds will be loud now and it will probably be great, but a lot of what was good about their loudness is recording based.
i'm not slagging off this tour, i'll try and see it, but i think it's worth noting that the last tour was basically all you needed, really
look on youtube at 'ferris wheel on fire' from their last live show if you haven't seen it; that's what i want to see.
Completely different beast. Solo shows were great, but very excited the band is back.
Can anyone recommend a good starting point?
all proper tunes, haircuts and bling
It's in my Spotify queue now.
you know the one
including a handful that should make Antelope pretty happy....
my 15 year old self is jumping around the house. i never thought it'd get to see these guys. woah. and he's coming back to the Kings Arms too! amazing
probably why Jeff picked it tbh, it's small enough to be intimate but can still hold a few people. He played there with Chris Knox in 2001, there's a good recording of it floating around the internet somewhere. Good thing there's gonna be two shows there, this is going to sell out quickly.
I'm leaving the UK for NZ about 10 days after they play NZ :(
