Their last album, Teenager, is a total lost classic.
supporting pixies whilst on holiday in florida a good few years back, they were ok but not really my kinda thing, never listened any of their albums though, might give um a whirl out of curiosity
i saw them in manchester and they had the futureheads supporting, and in london when i saw them they had the drummer doing a magic/science show
The Thrills stood in front of me during Pixies. I got irrationally annoyed by them.
Don't know why but I just wasn't bothered about whatever they released after that.
I actually think "Let's bottle bohemia" is their lost classic. Teenager was always a bit flat and clearly was the final nail in the coffin for them.
Now manages Little Green Cars. I agree that Teenager is a lost classic, Bohemia was the flat one for me. But, y'know, terrible choice for a Pixies support though they would have been, they had some great tunes.
but also has their best song - 'Not For All The Love In The World'.
Teenager... wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it was a very good album, released at a time when The Thrills' star was already fading.
