Jacob's Mouse stuff re-released today
Don't know if anyone on here will remember them, but Jacob's Mouse were a totally ace band from the early 90s, who I'm reasonably certain were a huge influence on the likes of Future Of The Left... Anyway, their first two releases are re-released via iTunes/Spotify etc today, here's what it says on Facebook:
20+ years since they first came out, the debut EP and LP by legendary Suffolk indie/dub/thrash trio JACOB'S MOUSE get their digital re-release TODAY via Sturm Und Drang Recordings. John Peel and Kurt Cobain were huge fans, and they toured with Nirvana, Manics, Suede, Babes In Toyland, Th' Faith Healers and loads more big bands of the day. Check them out on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Bandcamp etc! www.facebook.com/jacobsmouse

Twist...
was a decent tune.
Think I got No Fish Shop Parking on vinyl 1st time around
Really liked them, along with Silverfish, Fudge Tunnel, Th Faith Healers and other top bands in that genre/era. Might check thjem out again!
Th' Faith Healers
reformed for ATP a couple of years back I think. From what I hear two of JM are up for playing together again, but one of them is totally opposed to it. Surprised ATP haven't approached them to be honest, they're a perfect ATP band just as they were a perfect Peel band...
Singing drummer-tastic..!
Have been wanting to track down No Fish Shop Parking for ages.
All the Wiiija releases
(Ton Up EP onwards) have been online for a while, but the band own their early recordings and never got round to putting them out there before! I think there's a couple of things still not available - not sure their cover of 'Company News' is online legally...
