Sigur Ros' current UK tour

did people go to their show last night? or on previous dates of their UK tour? the setlist looks fantastic and the new songs sound great from what i've heard on Youtube.

also, if anyone has a spare for Wolves i'll take it (well, buy it).

Going to all three Brixton shows.

Felt like a good idea at the time, but it's probably a bit much on reflection.

Still, I do get to see Popplagid live
three times.

I went to Glasgow

It was fucking brilliant. Second time I've seen them. The new songs sounded awesome. BLEH. I want to see them again already.

I went last night. It was good, but not amazing. New songs were the highlights. Visuals are good but a bit OTT in some places. My big problem was how quiet EVERYTHING was. The beautiful soft passages sounded fantastic but the big swells of noise that make aforementioned soft passages all the more wonderful were very muted. I have no idea if this was exclusively because of the venue or not though.

I saw them in Amsterdam just over a week ago.

It was good but they were much better in 2000 as a raw and exciting four piece. The strings and brass sounded great in the Heineken Music Hall but the drums were far too quiet.

Went on Saturday in Glasgow...

Sixth time seeing them, still stunning. Was a tad worried about the Secc but it was stunning, especially Vaka. Only down point was the incessant ipad/iphone use in place.

Going to Wolves tomorrow

which is quite a tiny venue in comparison to some of the others on the tour. Saw them at Iceland Airwaves in November at it was really good despite my feet aching like they've never ached before while stood waiting for them to take the stage. Seats tomorrow however!

I went last night

Good but not as incredible and life-affirming as they're cracked up to be (hadn't seen em before). As someone said above the LOUD EPIC bits weren't LOUD and EPIC enough. Svefn-g-englar was the highlight, so beautiful.
