'Now That You Know Me' was a pleasant enough listen, a nice little 60's tinged pop-psych romp, but you can't seriously believe that it trumps any of the tracks on Copper Blue. Because it doesn't.
I first heard sugar at uni, loved em and still do. I got to husker du later and while I admire them, I don't love em. So yeah sugar wins for me. And silver age is aces too.
Should also add that
the latest Bob Mould album is better than anything Husker Du did, so:
Sugar > Bob Mould > Husker Du
You know you've got that arrow the wrong way round don't you?
While I'm aware that Husker Du get loads of plaudits and shit for being part of whatever scene it was they were a part of,
I've got the benefit of looking at all these related records completely objectively, since I was in nappies when Husker Du were kicking about.
They were a bit shit, although I suppose they allowed Bob Mould to cut his teeth as it were, before cracking on with writing some proper tunes.
OK, I'll rise to it
'A bit shit'?

Is that not a proper enough tune for you?

lol
Ah so this is the new forza account
Good to know.
damn, chance missed to "don't know who you are, pal"
agree
Couldn't deal with Grant Hart's lisp.
Intolerance
Grant Hart's first solo album is better than any of that other stuff.
I'll give it a go.
You'll be for the cosh if you're wrong.
Yeah I'm not wasting any more of my time on this shite.

Don't be silly now...
...Husker Du were an amazing band seldom given the credit they deserve. This hardly helps.
ignore him, he's trolling as always.
they're overated if anything
C'mon it's fair enough

Sugar over Hüsker Dü?
Anyone who thinks that is completely deranged.
