As mentioned before it can be listened to from start to stop and doesn't have any crazy vocals, some of Damo's "vocals" on Ege Bamyasi are a little too much for me at times, I actually think it spoils the music at times.
Got Soon Over Babaluma for Christmas and have played it a fair bit, another great album.
It's the one I go back to most often. It has the right balance where I can listen to it and be ingrossed or leave it in the background and it still sounds great. It's not the best, but it probably is my favourite.
I love Future Days
It's probably the one I listen to all the way through the most, although it is hardly a 'typical' Can album.
The other contenders are obviously Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi, both excellent although hardly easy listening (although that's obviously not the point)
I have a lot of affection for Soundtracks, which is an oddity of a record really but really great throughout.
I used to think Tago Mago
but now I might say Ege Bamyasi
although I love Monster Movie too,
Malcolm Mooney was fucking great in a deranged kind of way
The Delay 1968 comp has some of my favourite stuff on it too,
Bloody amazing.
Future Days hands down..

CAN i say...the Lost Tapes? is this allowed??
i think its my fave at the mo.
Monster Movie all the way
I drumbeat 21 hours a day, I'm in love with my girl, she's away... (etc)
But really, they're all awesome up to and including Flow Motion, and the later albums have their moments.
Probably Future Days...
...but I'm a sucker for Monster Movie.

I like Soundtracks
because it has the 14 minute version of Mother Sky, which is the best Can track of all.
