When I was around 14, my best mate and I started an AC/DC covers band. He played guitar, I sang and played the snare drum (too poor to afford a full kit).
It was probably the weirdest music I've ever made, and the best. Squalling guitars, spoken vocals (I can't really sing), Mo Tucker style drumming, riffz, things that were very much not AC/DC, long solos (he'd just got into Hendrix). We'd've been DiS favourites.
Last time I saw him, his girlfriend had got him listening to Jessie J.
So, what were you proudest of in your glittering musical career?
