I think this is the first time i've knowingly listened to Animal Collective

after years of hearing how 'weird' and 'noise' and whatever they are.
it sounds like some pop music with kind of interesting sounds.

        Here Comes the Indian isn't exactly conventional is it. Sure they're not Cementimental levels of noise, but they do get a bit crashy-bangy. I'm gonna leave this thread before I sound any more like a grandma.

        I think AC are pretty damn weird and I like them a lot...but I couldn't imagine someone calling them "noise". Because there is a whole genre of noise and fans of that get a bit precious when something "indie" gets called noise.
