Fans of faultless Scottish indie, take note. We are very happy to have former Arab Strap man Malcolm Middleton at The Harley on Monday 6th May, playing a solo acoustic set of his self-titled and Human Don't Be Angry work.

Support for this show will come from Fence Records' Seamus Fogarty

Go have a listen to his ace, collage-of-sound alt-folk here:

  • Just been to see him tonight

He was brilliant. Not that much bants though because the crowd were a bit awkward.

    Definitely go see him!

  • Looking forward to this.

He won't play Birdwatcher (my favourite track of his) since he dislikes it apparently, and I'm not too bothered about the HDBA stuff but it should be a good show nonetheless. Wouldn't usually pay a tenner to go in The Harley mind but happily make an exception for Malcy.

  • Most of what he played last night was off the first album

    • Good stuff.

Don't have to get there too early - Seamus not until 9 and Malcolm 10. I can watch the end of the snooker, have me dinner and then go out. Perfect end to a pleasant weekend. Even the moping Blades fans should've left town by then.
