My Bloody Valentine
this album is really annoying me however i listen to it...
it's doing it for me through speakers
it isn't what I wanted, but it makes more sense as the record they'd make after all this time.
like, 'Loveless' was as deep and heady and fucking rapturous as it was going to get. 'Isn't Anything' was youthful frenzy before that. this is settled, mature. I can take that.
but it's up to other bands to tear open the heavens again.
tear open the heavens
that is such a sonic cathedral moment.
Pope is Really Catholic
'Loveless' sounds equally awesome through cans, though
this 'un sounds fucking awful.
I'm just going to disagree with you all over the internet.
Wrong week for this joke
I just think My Bloody Valentine sounds a bit crap...
UH-OH
Is it possible that your speakers are better than your headphones?
just sounds crap to me
yeah i think i've had enough with this mbv audiophile bullshit. i'm listening this band since the 1990 and their sound was always muddy.
like neil young they should stop complaining and release just on vinyl and 24bit. i'm not gonna sit for 6 hours and listen kevin shields different mixes. new mbv album sounds great by the way, its absolutely amazing. and i'm still listening mp3 of the album. they should have produce of vinyl format of it already. i mean they had time to do that right? :-)
What kind of headphones do you have?
It sounds amazing through mine. Or maybe you have a low quality rip of the album (although I doubt this)
huh, sounds really thick and lush on mine
I agree about it sounding.. not crap, but a bit weak on headphones
haven't heard it on speakers.
'Loveless' sounds like it's emanating from...idk...some flowery, effusive thing like God's vacuum cleaner
this one sounds like a studio.
it has a decent heft through speakers, though.
and my headphones are great, so there you go.
Do we really need 20 threads for one album?
